About us

YOU CAN COUNT ON US TO PROVIDE THE BEST QUALITY SERVICE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES

A family run business, providing photocopier sales and support through South West Wales. Narbeth-based Clayton business Machines was established in 1977 by Roy Clayton, trading at the time as R Clayton Typewriter Services.

The business has since been run as a family-run concern, with Roy's wife Jean running the office and accounts side of the business.

Since then, the business has expanded in to other areas of business machinery.

As the typewriter sales and repair business grew it expanded into sales, servicing and repairing other types of office equipment, such as printers, faxes and photocopiers.

Today we focus primarily on the sales and service of multifunction copiers/printers.

Our family connection was added to in July 1983, when Mark Clayton joined the company to manage the photocopier side of the business. To further the family ties, Mark's sister Alison also took over the business administration.

In February 1993 the business acquired the Konica Minolta Mainline dealership for West Wales and subsequently changes its name to Clayton Business Machines, of which we are still known to this day.

In 2016, after serving 28 years with Dyfed Powys Police, the business was joined by Mark's wife Lisa, who has now taken over full control of the office and accounts while being a partner in the business.

Clayton Business Machines covers a 75 mile radius of Narberth and prides itself in giving its customers a first-class service, both in sales, and aftersales support.

Looking after customers and providing them a quality service has always been our main priority and has been key to our success.

Our 45+ years in Pembrokeshire has been built through recommendations of clients alone. We would like to thank all customers for their loyal support over the years and look forward to a continued business relationship.
